Terry Fox Run
Kindergarten will be participating in a Terry Fox run on Thursday this week. We are learning about Terry Fox and about how he set a goal to support others. We will be collecting Toonies for Terry this week.
We have a friend in our PM class who shared her journey with cancer with us today. She has been in remission from stage 3 liver cancer for over three years. She shared her beads of courage with the class and told us about her favourite beads and what they meant. She also shared a slide show that showed her strength, bravery, experience and so many smiling faces. How very inspiring.
Table Time task was a self portrait or drawing of family. We are working on including body parts:)
Our Learning Job today was sketching outside, looking for signs of Fall. We are trying to include details and be okay with making mistakes.
