Happy Halloween! 

We had our final practice with our Pumpkin, Pumpkin, What Do You See? books.  They are in the backpacks today.  Students are very excited to share their books and developing reading skills with you.  We worked on using the pattern to read the story, using the pictures as clues and using our finger to read the words.  Some students run their finger along the words and others are ready to read word by word.  Both strategies are excellent for this time in kindergarten.
