Kindergarten is on a roll! We have moved to 2 letters a week.  This week we are working on the letters Dd and Gg.  

* Ask your child to show you how to use the magic c to print lowercase d and g and uppercase G. 

* Ask your child the action for either letter 

* Over dinner this week play I spy (things that start with Dd/Gg) 

AM kindergarten is LOVING snakes and ladders 

We read a fun story! We love stories with predictable text and patterns because the kids can join in and help me read the story. 

Feel good moment! I was scrolling through facebook and thought I'd check in on the nursing home residents we sent cards to.  I think it is safe to say we helped to spread some holiday joy.  I have shared the photos with the PM class and will make sure to also share with the AM.

It has been exciting learning about all of your family traditions, red envelopes for special occasions, photos or PJs when decorating the Christmas tree, special books, fun games and songs! All so special.  If you have not submitted the TOP BANANA I need it ASAP please :) I'll give you a little inspiration and share a few.  Ever since I was young I always have an ice cream cake on my birthday.  The last thing before bed on Christmas Eve is always the story The Night Before Christmas.
