The AM class was busy today with Music and PE.
The PM class worked with a partner on a math activity. Recognizing numbers and counting/ subitizing (recognizing familiar dot arrangements without counting). It was interesting to see some of the different strategies emerge.
Can you figure out kindergarten sounding out. I recorded the letters they heard. They are doing a great job hearing and identifying dominant sounds. Hint- they are all Love Month words.
There has also been lots of great learning and discussion come from our message and question of the day. We talk about the difference between a word and a letter and found out sometimes a letter is a word! The word /is/ has shown up in most messages and we are looking at beginning letters for clues and sometimes able to look through the word when we have multiple guesses.
