Today we learned about Rock Your Socks Day from a student in our school who has Down Syndrome. He made a video with his mom to explain Down Syndrome to us. He explained that he has 3 sets of chromosome number 21. This means that some things are a little challenging for him such as clear speech and reading. He loves people, playing with balls and friends. We had a discussion that linked in really well with Orange Shirt Day (tomorrow). Everyone matters, deserves to feel happy, safe, included and accepted.
