Used Book Sale: New Brighton School will be hosting our second annual used book sale for students. Up until June 22nd, our school will be collecting gently used children’s books that are appropriate for children aged 5 to 11. Below are some guidelines regarding book donations:
- Please make sure books are appropriate for children aged 5-11. This includes picture books and chapter books.
- Books need to be in good, used condition. This means no rips or stains.
- There is no limit to how many books can be donated. Students can either bring books into the classroom or donate them in a book bin at the front entrance each morning until June 22th.
From June 26th to June 29th, students at New Brighton School will be given the opportunity to purchase books from our used book sale. Books will range in price from 25 cents to 5 dollars/per book. If you wish to have your child purchase a book, please send money in with your child in a small Ziploc bag on June 26-29 (ideally with their name labelled on it). The money collected will be used within the school to support student learning and will be used for new resources within the library.
