A little holiday patterning to start off the day. For some extra fun we explored AAB/ABC patterns.
We read the story, One Winter's Day. Some questions to ask your child about the story;
* What happened to little hedgehog's home?
* How did hedgehog show kindness?
* How did the story end?
We completed a journal. Students are starting to experiment with print and it is so great to see. Students are encouraged to give it a try, making mistakes is how we learn!
- New Brighton apparel went home today. If your child was not here today they will get theirs the next day they are at school.
- Wednesday is Wear your Holiday Sway Day. Wear any and all fun holiday gear! Fun sweaters, antlers, Christmas lights or red and green!
- Thursday will be Mr. Fraser's last day. We will be sad to see him go as he has been such a fabulous addition to our room
- Friday is AM students (Thursday will be the last day for PM before the break)
- Information will be coming this week around the online learning week of Jan 5-8
