This week we have started a morning/afternoon message.  This is a great opportunity to practice some of those skills we have been working on.  We talked about words vs. letters, what is a question, counted words, found letters!

Yesterday afternoon and this morning we had Mrs. Gull read us this beautiful story.  Stay tuned for some hearts in our windows.  Maybe you add some hearts to your windows.  Maybe you go for a walk and count how many hearts you can find!

We had some exploring time on the iPads.  We spent some time trying out some letter and word activities as well as practiced with Raz-kids.

Stephen and Aiden are demonstrating how awesome Raz-kids can be! I will always love a paper book read aloud the best but this program does an excellent job of filling the gaps, providing at individual level text and helping boost children's confidence!

And maybe my favourite part of the day . . . .

We are participating in a, Draw your Teacher, activity from the yearbook committee.  Help me pick the winner:) Let's be honest, they all win.  Here is Mrs. Hughes 16 times
