What is perseverance? Ask your child to see :) 

Today we read Giraffes Can't Dance.  Ask your child what happened at the beginning, middle and end of the story? 

"We can all dance when we find music we love" 

We started to work on some art to go along with our story.  It is almost compete.  

We had fun coming up with different ideas for how to plant seeds.  We tried a couple out and will watch to see what happens.  

Guided reading has been so great, I can feel the confidence and excitement growing. We are working on using our magic finger to track the word, using the pictures for clues and following the pattern.  Sometimes we find letters or words and today one group wrote their own sentences using the pattern of the story.  

The light table is a hit, so much creativity!
