Today we all participated in the school-wide project, Keeping the Circle Strong. The day started with each teacher placing a rock. The AM kindergarten were the first to place their rocks and the PM were the last class to place theirs.
When we got back to the classroom we talked together and here are some of the words of 5 & 6 year olds
* to me it feeled really nice because a long time ago peoples orange shirts, they had to burn or they weren't allowed to wear
* it made me really glad because it was really nice that we put the rocks back in nature but with all the school
* because every child matters
* they need to have a nice family and feel happy
* we all belong together
* every kid matters
* to tell that people love each other
* to spread love
* that everyone deserves to feel safe
* Standing up for us
* our rocks because every child matters
* We all need to feel love and be safe
* We are all a school together
We also released some more butterflies! Magical moments :)
