Our final Top Banana of this round was Eliana! Whoo hoo! 

That means our next round of Top Banana will begin next week! Your child will get to be the special helped again and this time will also share something from home.

THIS IS SHARED IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM :) Since we are unable to bring items from home we are asking that you participate by sharing in Google Classroom in the Top Banana Folder. This is also an excellent opportunity to get familiar with this platform that we use for our weekly workout assignment and there is a great virtual classroom which can be accessed at anytime.

Top Banana instructions In Kindergarten, students have been getting to know others. We are exploring how individual characteristics, talents and interests make us unique. Our Top Banana is invited to share one item from home that represents a favourite activity, interest or hobby. Some ideas include a photo of: * an art piece made by your child * favourite book * lego creation or favourite toy * ballet shoes, hockey puck, soccer ball, skipping rope etc. * photo of your child doing their favourite activity or hobby Please take a picture of this item and submit it in the Top Banana folder found in your child's Google Classroom.

Wednesday October 21 is . . . Wear Your Favourite Colour Day! Choose your favourite colour and wear it from head to toe!

Today we put together all the peices of our colouring and drawing critera. We took some time to review it. Mrs. Hughes completed an example and then students tried it out! They turned out pretty great! Try this criteria at home.

Brrr it's cold outside

With the cold weather comes mittens, toques, scarves, boots, snow pants and tricky tricky zippers! Practice, practice, practice! We are talking about taking care of our items.  Students are encouraged to store these little items in backpacks and sleeves. 

We will be exploring pumpkins the next two weeks! If you are able to donate a pumpkin that would be amazing and very much appreciated!  

Tomorrow is AM kindergarten 8:10-11:45 and PM gets a little break (to practice zippers 😉)
