Today we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and started a fun little activity that will last us until Halloween called Pumpkin, Pumpkin, What Do You See?  The students can't wait to share their beginning reading skills with you! 

We also talked about the letter Tt.  Ask your child where do you start the letter (at the top or bottom) and the sound it makes?

It was an exciting day this morning.  We celebrated Brock's birthday, Lee was our Top Banana (last of round 1 for the AM) and we welcomed a new student, Mirsab! 

PM students began round 2 of our Top Banana! I will not be posting photos daily of round 2.  Natalie did a great job sharing about her love and skills on the monkey bars :) Make sure you have submitted something for this round in the Top Banana folder in Google Classroom! 

Thank you for the pumpkin donations! We would be happy to take some more if you have an extra ;) 

Keep practicing getting children to get ready independently! Those zippers are tricky.
