Today we learned all about the letters Oo/Uu, learned about the days of the week, had fun sharing during community circle and worked on our beginning reading skills with a message and question of the day! We also looked at a thermometer to understand how cold it was out today and why we couldn't go outside.  If it is -20 or colder, we do not spend time outside.  

We also had lots of time for Centers.  I am seeing students really step up their creating, imaginative play and exploring skills during free play.  I love to see and hear math and literacy come through centers naturally.  They also do a fabulous job communicating and being kind with one another.
