We worked on representing the number 10 in our books then we did an easy little activity.  Ask your child how to play. 

Check the backpack for the winter words booklets we made.  We practiced reading them and they are excited to share. 

Valentine's Day reminder was sent home today from the office.  

Due to Covid-19, we are asking that students do not bring in Valentine’s Day cards or treats for their classmates this year. We know that this is a tradition that many students enjoy, but we also want to minimize risk of transmission.  The work involved in quarantining potentially 11,000+ valentines presents a challenge.  Students will be working on alternatives in their classes using supplies from school which will follow COVID-19 guidelines. As our Character Virtue for February is Love, teachers will be celebrating Valentine Day’s day with related activities that promote kindness and caring for others. We can assure you that we will have a special alternative that captures the sentiment of Valentine's Day and hopefully will bring them excitement and joy.
