Today we had our first Fire Drill of the year.  Mrs. Hellyer and I decided to practice with both classes and they did great!

We continued to work on our pencil grips and pre-printing skills drawing fun spider lines! 

We introduced a new colouring and drawing center today and some of the students decided to recreate the Top Banana chart.  I love this so much! Look at those early numeracy and literacy skills! You might start to see your children replicate some of learning tasks at home, this is an excellent way to solidify and extend the learning! 

Friendly Reminders

* Please pack a water bottle each day (no juice boxes for kindergarten please) 

* If your child attends daycare you might want to consider packing a separate snack 

* Thank you and please continue to keep your children home when they are unwell to keep us all healthy
