Well that was a fun day! So much excitement coming in, we had to do a community circle right away to share about their experiences over the break.
Today we officially welcomed Ms. Russell, a 4th year Student Teacher from Mount Royal University. She will be with us until the middle of April when she graduates. We are so fortunate to have a second teacher in the classroom and she already fits right in! She took off running getting to know students and routines today. As time goes on she will be teaching more and more and I'm sure you will hear her name lots.
Today we learned all about the letter O. We also changed up our morning meeting/calendar routine a bit with 'Which One Doesn't Belong'. I was surprised at how many answers they came up with. They asked me to share this one with you so that they could share all their great critical thinking skills with you. Ask them, Which One Doesn't Belong? (There are many correct answers)
